Cowley Road Evening Worship
This is a chance to share in contemporary worship in a relaxed and honest environment, with music, thought-provoking presentations and opportunities to respond to God's word in a variety of ways.
We begin with coffee, cake and chat at
8 pm on Sundays before we move on, around 8.15pm, to a time of worship led by our band. The theme for the day will then be explored. This might be through a short talk, a film clip or other visual presentation, a drama or monologue, an interview, testimony, music.
There is then time to respond to what has been presented by sharing in a number of prayer stations. These may allow space for quiet reflection, or may invite people to respond creatively, or via some form of social action.
Everyone is very welcome.
There is also a bible study group who meet on Tuesdays at 7.30 pm, starting with a meal.
