Welcome
Welcome to Cowley Road Methodist Church
We are situated in the heart of East Oxford, on the corner of Jeune Street and Cowley Road.
The church's mission is to bring the love of God to all. We seek to be accepting and welcoming of everyone, whatever your background or church traditions.
Our regular groups
QUEST FELLOWSHIP GROUP
Mondays 7.30pm - 9pm on Zoom. Contact Margaret for more information.
KNIT & STITCH
Tuesdays 10am - 12pm at Wesley Memorial Church. We zoom our sessions, so you can still join us for conversation and company, even if you can't be with us in person. We usually do a mix of wool-based activities, including knitting, crochet, and tapestry, and have needles, hooks and wool you can use. Again, contact Margaret for more information.
COFFEE, CAKE AND COMPANY
We are reviewing this, and hope to restart later in the year.

We now have a display about the history of our church in the sanctuary. The stories and some of the photos we have included are here: Our History. We also have a display in the church about different ways to pray. Check it out next time you're in.
We have recently been awarded 5* by the Food Standards Agency for our hygiene standards.
We have occasional special events and services at the church. Our next special service is Christingles for Candlemas on Sunday 4th February at 10.30am. To see photos from our previous events, see our events pages.
