Community Carols
On Saturday 10th December 2022 at 4pm we held our
Community Carols on the Church forecourt. The
picture is of our wonderful carollers! We’re
especially grateful to Kay Davies for leading us in
the singing with her ukulele.
We shared in a
joyful time of singing and fellowship along with
mince pies, glow sticks and warming drinks.
There were approximately 20 singers of all ages
and we estimate that around 100 people stopped
to take a mince pie or glow stick from Libby and
engage with us. We even had a round of
applause from neighbours in the flat above Rick’s
Diner! It was a joyful occasion and a great opportunity to open our doors and engage with our
community.
Thanks to all those who helped to organise and who braced the wintery temperatures! We hope to host a monthly community event on our forecourt – if you have any ideas for events we might hold, please do speak to Libby, one of the Stewards or our minister Miriam.
