Hopes and Memories
We had our annual open day at the church at the end of October. It was a lovely day with lots of friends and newcomers joining us. We estimate that we had 50-60 visitors.
We had Ock Street Band (a folk band) playing live music that brought many people in, an array of homemade cake (and more healthy nibbles too), tours of the church, activities inside and outside the church, and prayer stations and quiet spaces for people to reflect in.
We had people visit who'd often walked past the church but never been in, and people who had come to the church a long time ago and enjoyed the opportunity to see it again!
